MEETINGS: Every Saturday Evening
Starts at 6:00 pm
The Otaku-Kai is Kern County's #1 Anime Club Website
From Bakersfield to Boron and Lost Hills to Lebec, the Otaku-Kai (anime club) strives to provide information on anime related events and industry happenings in and around the Kern County area.
| To maintain a home for anime enthusiasts in California's Kern River Valley, and to provide a place where interested persons can cultivate a greater understanding and appreciation of Japanese pop-culture, music, art, and language... through Japanese animation, illustrative novels and more. |
In other wards, the Otaku-Kai is a Japanese Cultural Activities club made up of like minded individuals who enjoy sharing their love of Japanese animation, comics, cosplay, history, philosophy, food and just about anything else that's related to Japanese popular culture. Why? Because there are so many reasons to enjoy what we do!
Our little club here in Lake Isabella has a lofty goal in all of this. We want to help unite Kern County's anime fan base (Otaku like you and I), get them fired-up, and get them more involved in their own local clubs (and ours).
- When do we hold meetings?
- We meet every Saturday at 6:00 pm (unless otherwise noted).
- Anyone is welcome to visit during the meetings. However, most activities (at this time) are teen and adult based.
- Where are we located?
- We meet in the back room of KV Dojo... Located at 5412-B, Lake Isabella Blvd., Lake Isabella, CA.
- Please come to the back door at the ally side of the building and KNOCK loudly :)
